Lexco Cable Achieves AWRF Accreditation
Lexco Cable is proud to announce that we have officially passed the audit for a accreditation from the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators (AWRF). AWRF promotes technical guidelines for manufacturers and fabricators while also setting a new level of safety standards among the industry. This is a new achievement for Lexco as it solidifies our commitment to quality, safety, and industry standards.
This accreditation came after Lexco’s first-ever AWRF audit, which we as a company successfully passed. As part of the audit, AWRF evaluated Lexco using its “Recommended Practice for the Operation of Sling Shops” as a basis for review. The goal of this program is to support safer sling shop operations, drive more business to AWRF member companies, and help them win more market share. Passing on the first attempt highlights the strength of our company and the dedication of our team.
Our new AWRF accreditation reinforces Lexco’s commitment to producing dependable, high-quality wire rope assemblies while meeting the standards set by the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators. With this new accreditation we look forward to further strengthening our position as a trusted partner for customers and businesses.
Lexco Cable recommends the AWRF Accreditation Program audit to any AWRF members that fabricate load bearing assemblies. We found it to be a valuable experience bringing in a trusted third party to review processes, and suggest improvements where feasible to ensure high quality. Sometimes running an SMB can operate as a closed eco system, which is why it’s helpful to gain external insight from time to time. Insights shared in confidence are all the more meaningful when that outside perspective is rooted in the wire rope industry. We enjoyed collaborating with the LEEA auditor who was understanding to the unique aspects of our business.
