SLEEVES
Sleeves are used to create loop ends on wire rope or fiber rope assemblies, often in conjunction with thimbles, and are useful for attaching assemblies. They are commonly designed to hold the nominal break strength of cable and wire ropes.
Sleeves are wire rope fittings used to create loop ends on wire rope, aircraft cable, and fiber rope assemblies. They are often used with wire rope thimbles to form reinforced eyes that can connect to hooks, shackles, clevises, eye bolts, and other cable hardware. When properly selected and installed, sleeves are commonly designed to hold the nominal breaking strength of compatible cable and wire rope.
Lexco Cable offers stainless steel sleeves, aluminum sleeves, copper hourglass sleeves, zinc plated copper sleeves, tin plated copper sleeves, Flemish eye sleeves, duplex sleeves, carbon steel turnback sleeves, fiber rope sleeves, and black oxide copper sleeves for a variety of custom wire rope assemblies. These sleeve fittings support industrial, commercial, lifting, rigging, architectural, and OEM applications where secure looped cable ends are required.
