Rigging Turnbuckles
Marine rigging turnbuckles are wire rope fittings used to tension cable assemblies in marine, architectural, and high-strength cable applications. They’re commonly machine swaged directly onto the cable to create a secure, integrated connection that helps adjust tension, maintain alignment, and support long-term performance.

Choosing a Marine Rigging Turnbuckle Configuration
Turnbuckle end configurations, such as eye-eye, eye-hook, hook-hook, eye-jaw, hook-jaw, and jaw-jaw, determine how the fitting connects to the surrounding hardware on each end. Marine toggle jaws allow for a degree of articulation where the connection needs to pivot under load, while marine eye ends provide a fixed pinned connection.
Stainless steel is the most common material for marine rigging turnbuckles because of its corrosion resistance in saltwater and outdoor environments.
