Rope Fittings
Lexco Cable offers swageless cable fittings for wire rope and cable assembly systems from 1/16″ to 1 ½” in diameter. These fittings create secure cable terminations without traditional swaging equipment, making them useful for field installation, repairs, and maintenance.
Options include Electroline industrial fittings, cable railing fittings, Kwik-Grips, clevises, eye ends, threaded studs, turnbuckles, hooks, swivels, and lifeline fittings. Swageless fittings are available in self-colored steel, zinc-plated steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.
Swageless Cable End Fitting Options
Lexco offers clevis fittings, eye ends, oval eyes, drum sockets, coupling fittings, threaded studs, turnbuckles, hooks, swivels, lifeline fittings, and Safe-Line Clamps.
Wire rope construction also affects fitting compatibility. Series A plugs are intended for general-purpose constructions, while Series B plugs are used with strand and certain rotation-resistant wire ropes.
Swageless Fittings for Field Installation
Unlike swaged fittings, swageless fittings use a mechanical connection that can often be assembled without conventional swaging machinery. This makes them useful for on-site installation, replacement assemblies, and applications where swaging equipment is not practical.
The fitting should still be matched to the wire rope diameter, construction, material, and required load.
