We zinc die-cast custom cable end fittings in-house including barrels, balls, eyes, and more to provide you with finished products of the highest quality. Additionally, the benefits of our zinc die-cast fittings are the same as traditional fittings while eliminating a good portion of the labor cost associated with conventional swaging.
Die-cast end fittings for your wire rope and cable assemblies are made to your specifications, making them an ideal option for unique or customized assembly designs. As demonstrated in our die casting video, die-cast fittings are created by injecting molten zinc directly onto a cable end inside a custom die. By using a custom die, fittings are overmolded for specialty shapes such as a bullet, Z-shape, or L-shape. It should be noted that most of our die-cast fittings are made-to-order, and therefore require a fee for the associated tooling.
For your convenience, we can also die-cast a number of standard fittings such as ball ends and eyelets for use in your cable or wire rope assembly. However, due to the custom nature and tooling requirements, the cost savings of our die-cast fittings over traditionally machined fittings are most significant in high-volume orders.
