We not only distribute assemblies, but we also supply wire rope by the foot, fittings, and hardware individually. Centrally located in the Midwest right outside Chicago, we are conveniently located a couple of miles off 294 and 90 expressways and just minutes from O'Hare Airport International (ORD), and can provide you with an efficient hub for your distribution.
We can coordinate custom parts for multiple assemblies and create a reorder point for such components to minimize potential shortages. Additionally, our team processes customer-supplied parts (CSP) including receiving, inspecting, warehousing, and assembling. For your convenience, we can create a purchase agreement to supply a turnkey assembly with customer-supplied parts. Whether you assemble it or we do it for you, you will always receive the same care when packing and shipping.
With services that include lot tracking, barcoding, labeling, and order and shipment consolidating, we provide you with a robust logistics plan that ensures product quality and timely delivery. To sync your orders with specific production or delivery schedules, we can also provide just-in-time services, including Kanban releases.
We offer drop-shipping to streamline delivery. We can ship private-labeled wire rope assemblies, wire rope reels, hardware to customer warehouses and fulfillment centers such as FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon). When we blind drop ship we use blind labels, generic boxes, and blind pack slips. If you send us your artwork, our team can apply custom labels and packaging to the inner packs and outer cartons with your company branding. At your request, we can include special labels when packaging such as Prop65 labels, warning labels, and header cards for consumer packaging. For customers looking to make their own UPS or FedEx label or Bill of Lading (BOL), we're happy to provide the weight and dimensions.
Additionally, we are able to ship releases of your order to as many delivery locations as necessary. For example, you can place a PO for 500ea assemblies and we can split that up into 5ea releases of 100pc going to 5ea FBA locations. We commonly ship to FedEx, UPS, and Amazon terminals for the installation of conveyor lines.
To provide optimal efficiency, we are also EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) capable. We comply with sales tax regulations which are determined by the final delivery destination and charge sales tax when appropriate for compliance and maintain a database of resale certificates for sales tax exemption. We also have a cargo insurance policy which we can omit for customers that identify self-insurance.
We are more than happy to accommodate and cooperate with your routing guides — instructions on shipping preferences and stipulations on when a shipment should be parcel versus a less-than-truckload (LTL) shipment. For LTL shipments, we can select appropriate LTL accessories such as liftgate delivery, appointment delivery, hold at a terminal, residential delivery, farm delivery, limited access delivery, and more.
For prepaid and add shipments we pass along our discounts; treating the shipping fee as a pass-through with no Lexco® shipping department surcharge.
We ship to Canada and Mexico regularly and can supply corresponding USMCA documents when eligible. For exports, we enclose invoice copies and country of origin and, when requested, we can provide a Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI).
