We specialize in spraying products with the MIL-PRF-16173 Class II Grade I corrosion prevention compound to help extend the life of your cable assembly and ensure you meet the requirements of your project. The MIL-PRF-16173 specification is a dry-to-touch corrosion inhibitor coating applicable for use under a broad range of outdoor exposure temperature changes. The military commonly uses this performance specification, and it is one of the many military specifications we can provide throughout our range of products and assemblies.
Our spray painting services can coat loops and wire rope assemblies in a variety of different colors, providing you with a quick method of visually identifying and distinguishing between multiple products and various cable lengths. Spray painting cables of differing sizes in separate colors, such as painting your 20-feet cables blue and your 30-feet cable red, provides a convenient method of identification as an alternative to text printed on heat-shrink wrapping or our labeling and laser etching services.
Our in-house services are also able to coat your wire rope assemblies and cable components in Dykem. Dykem, an alternative to paint, is commonly used to coat products of irregular lengths or dimensions and is beneficial in marking out certain parts which may require further machining.
